Description
NOMTAX is a database of synonyms, taxonomic names and local names of plants and fungi. NOMTAX is the Windows version of the dictionary V.S.T. The dictionary contains 13332 pages with names of species from 1045 families (15858 genera).
The advantages of NOMTAX over V.S.T. are as:
  • bulgarian/english interface
  • easier searching in the database - by title, taxonomic range and whole text.
  • fast buttons to search in the Web for the selected taxon (with Google and DMOZ.org)
  • ability to add user's notes
  • ability to install illustrations
    now is available to download a demo version of the NOMTAX album with 59 photos of 50 species.

System requirements: 486, VGA, Windows 9x/NT/XP, Internet Explorer.
PLEASE NOTE: The presented database IS NOT a list of "right" names and "right" systematics. It is only a pool of names from various systems. It's quite possible to find wrong taxa.
