LinGo is a free dictionary development tool. It consists two modules: LinGo (editor) and LinGoView (browser).
The program modules require Windows 9x or newer version. A product registration is not required.

The editor LinGo allows to store words, transcriptions and sentences, to set the title, font and character set of the dictionary, author's data and to protect the file with a password. The words can be recorded in a table, without need of any programming knowledge. Version 2.0 have the ability to change the font and character set depending on the used languages. Version 2.1 allows to sort columns in the table. LinGo is distributed as Freeware (absolutely free but with agreement to not change any part of the program files).

The browser LinGoView is intended to publish and read dictionaries. It shows an index of the words in a list box, allows to search words from the index or from the translated words and the sample sentences. The browser allows the user to open another dictionary or to change the font and the character set.
LinGoView can be redistributed as ad-ware (absolutely free but shows an advertisement while is online)

Both the program files can be used and redistributed by everyone, in agreement to keep them intact - without any changes. The editor LinGo can be redistributed only in the package as is in this site (as the original installation package). The browser LinGoView can be redistributed alone, with the completed dictionaries.
